The Rector and Vestry of an Episcopal church govern the church together. The they conduct monthly meetings to discuss everything from the Sunday School curriculum,  Walker dedication windowand church financial responsibilities  to leaks in the roof. The Vestry is like the board of directors for a parish.

The Vestry is chosen by election at the annual parish meeting, and each member serves for a three year term. The senior warden (elected for one year, by the vestry members at the annual parish meeting), directs the business of the parish, while the junior warden ( also a one year term), is in charge of building and grounds maintenance. Other vestry members are assigned to various commetties, such as outreach, inreach, Christian Education, etc.
